Military Rank. Dar has a military rank from his career as a soldier. Soldiers loyal to his former military organization still recognize his authority and influence, and they defer to him if they are of a lower rank. He can invoke his rank to exert influence over other soldiers and requisition simple equipment or horses for temporary use. He can also usually gain access to friendly military encampments and fortresses where his rank is recognized.

Shortbow. Ranged Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, range 80/320 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d6 + 2) piercing damage.

Rage (2/day). As a bonus action, Dar can enter a rage for up to 1 minute (10 rounds). He gains advantage on STR checks and saving throws (not attacks), +2 melee damage with STR weapons, resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, slashing damage. He can't cast or concentrate on spells while raging. His rage ends early if he is knocked unconscious or if his turn ends and he hasn’t attacked a hostile creature since his last turn or taken damage since then. He can also end his rage as a bonus action.
